MANYONGA Luvo Wins for South Africa’s in Men’s Long Jump Final

After South Africa missed narrowly to clinch first Gold in the men’s 100m butterfly at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, Manyonga Luvo who has always been determined to deliver the long awaited gold medal came up with a silver medal for his Country.

The former All African Games Champion who was determined to raise the flag of his country high delivered the master piece of 8.37m which is now also his personal best but narrowly lost to Jeff Henderson of the USA who clocked 8.38m.

The 25 year old track and field athlete could not hide his emotions as he missed narrowly to win gold for his country. “Its a pity I lost at the breaking point narrowly” a dissapointed Luvo said.
